Just had a look at the diary and noticed August is looming .... and that means time for those wonderful Louth Races again!
If you haven't taken yourself out to the tiny town of Louth, on the Darling River just near Bourke in western NSW - work a leave pass into your schedule and put aside Saturday 11th August. Actually, put aside that whole weekend and give yourself time to inhale some hilarious and remote bush hospitality.
You'll be greeted with a good bitumen airstrip, free transfers into town, and you won't be short of company once you hit Shindy's Inn with a decent thirst under your belt.
