As a convenient launching pad for the Kimberley and a reliable refueling stop, we always choose to stay a night or two at Kununurra. If you're flying yourself in, just be conscious that with lots of scenics and commercial ops happening, this can be a busy CTAF, so do the right thing, use your brain, stay alert for other traffic and make the appropriate radio calls.
