The corner of the island showing the managers' cottage, the beach house and your own private beach.
That's the "home airstrip", next to the accommodation.
The longer strip that we usually use, in good nick, well maintained by the managers.
Your welcome mat on Three Hummock.
One of countless perfect beaches on the island.
Your private beach for endless walks and ... talking to geese.
You're sharing the home of a great many Cape Barren geese.
You'll find plenty of excuses to gather on that fabulous deck.
Bev always had beautiful flowers blooming around the house. And their vegetable garden is to be believed.
Bushwalking - they've got that covered here. Pip, Judy, Kate and Catherine have just walked 9 kms from the airstrip to the beach house. By choice. Go figure.
The managers will come pick you up from the strip, no worries.
There's plenty of parking on the disused cross strip.
The strip stands out pretty well. There's not exactly much around to distract you.
Here's a famous visitor arriving ...
All hands on deck as the famous little Searey Southern Sun, and its adventurous pilot, Michael Smith, pay us a visit on the island.
With a howling wind, we were all very happy to see Michael land safe and sound on the home airstrip after a five hour bash across Bass Strait.
I doubt there is a finer place to have breakfast than on this front deck overlooking that gorgeous harbour.
Another prolific resident.
It's just a chillin' sort of place.
The big dining room in the beach house makes a fine flight planning desk for the crews.
